Mrs. Lynne Stamey

Lynne Stamey was born and raised in Gastonia, where she graduated from Ashbrook High School. She earned her Business Administration/Management Degree from Gaston College shortly after high school graduation. After working in the business world for a while, she decided that education was where her heart was. She attended and graduated from Belmont Abbey College, where she received her degree in Elementary Education. She earned her Academically and Intellectually Gifted Certification from Western Carolina University, then went on to earn her Master's Degree in Education Administration and Supervision from the University of Phoenix.

Prior to administration, Mrs. Stamey spent 6 years at Grier Middle School, where she taught sixth grade math; at Piedmont Community Charter School for 3 years, where she taught second grade, third grade, and sixth grade math; and at Brookside Elementary for 4 years where she was a teacher assistant.

Mrs. Stamey has served as an Assistant Principal at Lingerfeldt Elementary and Robinson Elementary. She lives in Gastonia with her husband, Jimmy, and has one son, Alex. She enjoys spending time at the beach, and being with friends and her family.
